Closure of the Port de Plaisance of Lachine in 2021.

This is rather catastrophic news for boaters in the Lachine marina. The news came today on July 8.

Mayor Laplante will transform the marina into a public park for 2021.

 

Boaters will have to relocate elsewhere, which will not be easy especially since the Lachine Navy was the largest marina in Quebec with its 500 berths.

 

It is a new dismay, how is it that it was necessary to eliminate the marina, was it possible to cohabit with other users.
